ARE CENTRAL BANKS GETTING TO MUCH

This was a question that was bought up at an economist luncheon this past week
Then the conversation shifted to what's wrong with US economic policy moving forward.
The main focus of the arguments shifted to US banks.
And here it is in a nutshell, the party was swell and economics was not to steal the day.
Banks are deemed zombie firms at the luncheon. The bailout package this go round for the zombies was a cool 800 billion.
Then it was "I"ll take Bank of America for 40 billion thank you. Then Aig for 100 billion. GS for 50 billion. And Pierdmont for another 50 billion. Lol. Who got left out in this round of finacial bailout musical chairs?
To be or not to be and not taking things out of context the fact of high evaluations moving forward, still equals a false sense of finacial security in the markets. But low and behold the high dividend yield is a plus couple that with conventional wisdom and the pricing power of the firms helps the banks and favor a bailout. Why not? The inflation verses deflation argument in relation to long periods of time with prices being higher than lower which is the ideology of the market to get higher over time makes the market to consider the inevitable that financials with get higher and will have more and more creation within the economy over time. And finally the nays argue investment strategies change and what worked in the past doesn't always work well in the future or the "new normal" which is uncharted at this time.

Wake up these "warm body" firms and make them finally do some work and live to tell. Should bailout at this juncture in emerging economies even be allowed? Seriously there are hundreds to thousands of business and individuals that are reddy to take the place of any one slippping. This is a harsh reality. Are the US banks oooops zombie firms expendable?
